Donor Testing

A. Donor and Recipient Tests:

Both the oocyte donor and recipient will receive the following tests:
HIV (AIDS test), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Rubella, CMV, blood type and RH factor, current pap smear, as well as psychological assessment.

B. Recipient Only Tests:

In addition, the recipient will receive: uterine sounding, a hysterosalpingogram or hysteroscopy, and an endometrial biopsy. The recipient’s husband will receive a semen analysis with swim up and an HIV test.
C. Donor Only Tests

The egg donor will receive the following additional tests: FSH and estrogen levels, GC cervical culture, chlamydia cervical culture, and appropriate genetic testing.
D. Consents

The egg recipient, her husband, and the egg donor must sign consents.
